男,生于1965年,祖籍陕西省渭南市,博士,研究员,博士生导师;中国科学院大学教授,中国科学院动物研究所动物进化与系统学重点实验室副主任,鸟类学研究组组长。国家杰出青年科学基金项目获得者,国家高层次人才计划重点领域创新团队负责人,入选百千万人才工程。
